Our next series of lectures will start in October 2010, and will appear on the website at the beginning of October if not sooner. All lectures are held at St Peter's Parish Centre, Church Street, Mansfield, and usually last about an hour. Our speakers normally come from the professional archaeological world, the local universities and the professional archaeological contractors; but we do have dedicated amateurs come to speak as well. A donation of £1.50 is requested at the door. Coffee is served free of charge during question time at the end of the lecture, and car parking is available. Membership of our Society is not essential to attend our lectures, non-members are very welcome.
